We aim to directly support Two of the 2015 Millennium Development Goals and Targets

Goal 1. Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger

Target 1. Halve, between 1990 and 2015, the proportion of people whose income is less than $1 a day

Target 2. Halve, between 1990 and 2015, the proportion of people who suffer from hunger

• With improved income our borrowers will be able to feed their families on a regular and sustained basis while increasing nutrition which will have indirect positive impact on Millennium Goals 4 and 5 related to child mortality and maternal health.

Goal 3. Promote gender equality and empower women Target 4. Eliminate gender disparity in primary and secondary education, preferably by 2005, and in all levels of education no later than 2015.

• By working primarily with female borrowers we are empowering the women to be in control of their future by giving them the tools to become financially independent and encouraging women to support each other and pass down the importance of education and gender equality to their children.
